The 8146 is modeled after the original work boot styles that made Red Wing famous. The 6" moc toe style is classic Red Wing work with Briar Oil Slick leather, Vibram® lug sole, triple stitched quality and Goodyear welt construction.

The history behind the style: Red Wing's Classic Work boots were designed to stand up to the daily rigors of both work and leisure at a time in which workers were performing a multitude of outdoor jobs. The boot that would provide them with both durability and underfoot relief needed to be an innovative style.  Red Wing's moc toe work boots were designed as an answer to these needs and they would become an iconic boot style for the Red Wing brand.  The moc lug style is a twist on this classic boot and features an aggressive lug sole for comfortable outdoor wear.
